Recruitment Process
Our recruitment process is designed to assess both creative capability and overall fit, while giving candidates the opportunity to demonstrate how they actually think and work.
1. Portfolio Screening & Shortlisting
We’ll start by reviewing applications, portfolios, and showreels to shortlist candidates whose experience and creative work are relevant to the role.
2. Initial Screening Interview — Head of Operations
Shortlisted candidates will have an initial interview with our Head of Operations. This conversation will cover relevant experience, availability, salary expectations, and other administrative and employment-related details.
3. Creative Interview — Head of Creative Media
Candidates who pass the initial screening will meet with Emad Sultan, Head of Creative Media. This stage focuses on creative and technical capabilities—how you approach projects, your workflow and process, the tools you use, your strengths across 2D and 3D, and the thinking behind your work.
4. Final Interview — Managing Director
Successful candidates will then have a final interview with Nadeem Khaled, Managing Director, focusing on overall fit, mindset, expectations, and alignment with how we work at Olven White.
5. On-Site Practical Assessment
Candidates who successfully complete the interview stages will be invited for a one-day, on-site practical assessment at our office.
You’ll be given one or two creative tasks designed to demonstrate your actual capabilities, creative thinking, technical execution, workflow, and ability to work within a realistic brief and timeframe.
The assessment is completed on our premises using our available setup, allowing us to evaluate the work itself as well as how you approach the creative process.
